This hotel is fine to spend 1 or 2 nights but not a hotel where I’d want to spend any longer. It’s very clean, very quiet, but quite far from Kata. The room was spacious and we slept comfortably. The pool is small and when there are several people in it it becomes quite cramped. I really appreciated that their fitness centre was well equipped. Breakfast was passable with very generic options.

Stayed at this hotel in January, hotel is very clean poor location unfortunately but shuttle bus runs until 6 pm . A taxi is 300 baht so not a big deal to us . The breakfast left something to be desired as the only option for me were omelet but i managed that being said The hotel did go beyond for me on my last day as I was ill with my diabetes and the management could not do enough for me and let me keep my room on for a few hours free of charge .Great staff good hotel and a thank you from us .

What an amazing experience. We were welcomed immediately by the wonderful reception team. Our room was beautiful with amazing views and lovely facilities. The hotel is tucked away in the mountains with beautiful views. Each day we went to Kata on the free shuttle, we also took the hotel taxi to Phuket and the big Buddha. You get pool towels, robes and wet slippers to use (ask for pool towels when going to beach too) We were all inclusive and the food was lovely too. Great selection of drinks too. Wonderful service. This is the perfect hotel if you want a peaceful oasis. I would highly recommend it and can’t wait to return

We were at Yama for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were the nicest we have stayed in since we have been in Thailand (best of the three so far). Pros: - AC is really cold and works well - pool area is awesome for lounging - food is great and there are ton of great drink selections (and a 2-for-1 happy hour!) - complimentary breakfast has a ton of options both Thai and western style - complimentary shuttle service to Kata Beach - great restaurants nearby Cons: - hotel is a bit far from other major attractions / steep hills to do on foot - crossing is a real big pain (even by Thailand standards) outside of the hotel to get to the restaurants - our fridge didn’t really work that great and the drinks were only moderately cool Would stay again :)

The location is on a hill. Initially they provide us with the wrong type of room. Maybe it was a mistake. Afterwards, when we showed them our booking slip. They have changed it. The wash room and shower may be very modern . As, there was no system to lock the washroom and shower. Or maybe we could not find it. Buffet breakfast is awesome. Just besides the pool. Far from the beach.

We were at The Yama Hotel on 19-21 October as family holiday. The hotel is not so big but they provide main thing you need for your relax holiday. Upon check in reception team and bellboy were great. Can feel the hospitality from them all. …

The staff were really nice, but what made the difference from any other hotel was Baris. Others can learn a lot from him on how he treats his guests. Polite, understanding, respectful. That's how he has been brought up. All the best Baris
